  2. Enable Biometric Attendance: In the Attendance section, choose the Biometric Attendance submenu and activate the biometric module.
  3. Access Biometric Devices: After activation, a new submenu Biometric Devices will appear. Here, you can integrate your devices.

Adding a Biometric Device in HRMantra HRMS

  1. Click Add Device: In the Biometric Devices section, click on Add.
  2. Enter Device Details:
    • Device Identifier: Assign a distinctive name to identify the device.
    • Device Type: Choose the type from ZKTeco, Anviz, or Matrix COSEC.
  3. Configure Device Settings: Depending on the device selected:
    • Network Configuration: Enter IP address and designated port number for connectivity.
    • Matrix COSEC: Additional fields for username and password.
    • Anviz: Provide Request ID, API URL, API Key, and API Secret.
  4. Save the Device: After entering details, click Save to complete the integration.

Managing Biometric Devices

  • Test Connection: Use the Test button to ensure proper device communication.
  • Schedule Data Fetching: Set up automatic fetching of attendance data at specified intervals.
  • Employee Sync: Link employees to the biometric device, ensuring their data is synced correctly.
